Download of licensed softwares

Service Intro

To promulgate the importance of intellectual property, and in line with the principle of using legal softwares, the Center utilizes its budget to purchase licensed softwares for campus academic use.

Service Targets

All NTU faculty, staff and students. In the absence of a special copyright statement, all licensed softwares can only be installed and used in university-owned computers (with a tag of NTU property on them)
* Licensed softwares are not to be installed in personal computers, computers at sudents’ dormitories, and computers at NTU’s affiliated institutions (such as NTU Hospital).

List of softwares available for download

Microsoft licensed softwares:
Including various language versions, you can use the newest Microsoft versions or downgrade to use the old versions. You can also use the upgrade operation system of Microsoft (the CPU must have a licensed old operation system), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Frontpage, Microsoft Publisher, Visual Studio, Net, etc.
Anti-virus softwares:
all series of Symantec anti-virus softwares.
Chinese fonts:
Hua-kang Golden Disc 2000 (available for only faculty and staff)
Chinese and Japanese translation softwares:
Dr. Eye Enterprise version Dr. Eye 2002, Dr. Eye’s Cambridge encyclopedia, Dr. Eye’s Japanese dictionary, Dr. Eye’s full text translation softwares, Dr. Eye’s voice secretary, Dr. Eye’s International Commercial and Financial Dictionary (available for only faculty and staff), Chinese word processing Software, Nature Word Processing Software (Professional Type B (available for only faculty and staff)
SAS Softwares:
BASE SAS、SAS / STAT、SAS / GRAPH、SAS/SHARE、SAS/ACCESS TO ODBC、SAS / ETS、SAS / FSP、Sas/ACCESS To PC File Format、SAS / IML、SAS / INSIGHT、SAS / CONNECT、SAS/ACCESS TO OLE DB、AppDev Studio、SAS/Enterprise Guide

Acquisition of softwares

Please log onto: http://download.cc.ntu.edu.tw to download the software you need.
SAS related softwares can be obtained from the offices of the various colleges. All faculty or students who need SAS softwares can go to the college offices and ask for a DVD which contains the SAS softwares.
