Division of System Design

The C&INC is responsible for the computerization processes of the university affairs and administrations of the NTU. The Internet and the distributed database architecture are used for the integration of information management systems of the university, such as salary, personnel, student affairs, accounting, academic affairs, and property managements, for the promotion of computerization of integrated university affairs and administrations, as well as providing integrated information service for the university.

Scope of Affairs

• Management of Administrative Affairs
  The design and maintenance of systems relating to Personnel, Salary, Cashier, Accounting, Official Letters, Official Notices, Research Projects, Movable Properties, Lecture Theater and Meeting Room Loans, Second Hand Information and Property, Attendance, Leave, Parking, and Receipts.
• Management of Student Affairs
  The design and maintenance of management systems relating to Student Associations, Events, Sites, Research Student Bursaries, Study & Work, Freshman Health Information, Student Loan, Tuition & Fee Reduction, Mid-Low Income Compensation, Penalties & Rewards, Conduct Grade, Advisor Counseling Fees, and Overseas Chinese Students.
• Online Applications or Enquiry Services
  The design and maintenance of information systems relating to Research Projects, Research Student Bursaries, Study & Work, Freshman Health Information, Student Loan, Tuition & Fee Reduction, Mid-Low Income Compensation, Penalties & Rewards, Conduct Grade, Advisor Counseling Fees, Advisor/Student General Information, University Affairs Comments and Suggestions, Message Board, Proofs, Accounts, Fund Applications, Income Tax, Faculty & Staff Members, Alumni, Student Association Information, Procedures for Leaving the University.
• Policy Making Support Services
  The design and maintenance of systems relating to the enquiries or reports for statistical numbers such as Budgets, Number of Faculty and Staff Members allowed, Research Projects, Academic Results, and International Exchanges.
