Campus Network

100 Mbps Fast Ethernet networks are now available for all users on NTU campus and the backbone of campus network is upgraded to Gigabit Ethernet. For outbound connections, the speed with MOE is promoted to 2.4Gbps. Additionally, NTU also leases international bandwidths from ISPs, and in 2004, the leased line was upgraded to 310 Mbps.

In order to handle accidental power failure, we also installed professional air conditioner and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). Currently, there are two UPS systems installed, ensuring that all machines can operate properly and provide stable network service.
