Yung-Yu Chuang
Yung-Yu Chuang received his B.S. and M.S. from National Taiwan University in 1993 and 1995, respectively, Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2004, all in Computer Science. He joined National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2004 and is now a professor of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE). Prof. Chuang was the associate chairman(2012-2017) and chairman (2017-2020) of the department CSIE, the convener (2018-2020) of MOST's Intelligent Computing Program. He has served as Chief Director of the Computer and Information Networking Center of National Taiwan University since August 2021. He received the Excellent Mentor Award and Outstanding Teaching Award from NTU, and Distinguished Research Award from MOST. His research interests include computer vision, deep learning, computation photography, and computer graphics.
